We design, build and install Interactive Websites for schools usually incorporating Content Management Systems. These allow 'Multi-User' input, which means the schools can maintain the site themselves, without resorting to outside agencies. This ensures that content is always relevant, useful, and up to date.If required, we can manage your site, carrying out administration, management, and even editing functions. This may be useful for new users who might be apprehensive about managing the backend of a Content Management System.
We can provide Staff Training in CMS Operation and Management, and also deliver on-site or online training programmes to assist staff in operating our websites or eLearning platforms.
We can design 'Themes' for advanced users who wish to install 'Open Source' Content Management systems for themselves. (A word of caution however - we have devoted a considerable amount of time to researching many of the CMS currently vailable, and have also amended code to make our chosen systems run effectively. Newcomers are in for a long haul, before their site is up and running!)
We can design custom materials for use in schools (on a network, intranet or internet) which can be based around materials and ideas provided by teachers and others. For example a teacher might provide us with a series of digital images for a current topic, and we can design an online course around them, complete with assessment modules etc.We can help customers with the design and implementation of Moodle courses - whether or not the platform is installed by us as part of a website.
