Support is an important of website design and implementation, and we can provide varying levels according to the client's requirements. All of the administration of the sites can be undertaken remotely, providing we have access to the site and its database. However our support services can, if required, extend further. For smaller schools which may not have access to IT professionals, we can provide on site or remote support and training. Larger organisations might feel more confident in running the Administration side of their site, and may need only a few initial training sessions to acquire a good working knowledge of how to manage the site. Within the UK we can also offer training sessions, for example delivered as part of an 'Inset' package to demontrate the workings of the sites to staff, or other parties. Once we undertake to design your site we can offer the following means of help and support:

• Installation and Commissioning:
  

We undertake to fully install, commission and test the site on the agreed server, before handing over control to the client. Templating and appearance design is undertaken subject to agreed principles at this stage.

• Built In and Remote Support:
  

Your site will have a built in 'Questions and Answers' package, which will help users to add and edit content. There are also interactive demonstrations, which show users how to carry out basic functions. (Examples of these are available on this site here.) Naturally we offer email and telephone support to our customers, once the site is up and running.

• Site Administration:
  

Our sites are designed so that clients can take full control of content and administration. If required, however, we can retain an administration role, subject to agreement with the client, to ensure continuity of appearance and the smooth running of the site.

• Support from External Agencies
  

Because we make extensive use of 'Open Source' technologies, clients have access to a wealth of information and support from the Internet. Moodle, for example, has an excellent Support Forum system, which is frequently updated, and we only use and recommend Content Management Systems where support and updates are readily available.
We can offer Staff Training packages to suit your requirements. This may be, for example a few sessions to get your staff used to managing your site, or to using elearning packages such as Moodle. Or you may require some sessions in General Web Design or Creating Web Images, to get your staff proficient in the techniques which will produce an eyecatching appearance for your site. We can design custom made tutorials (such as the ones featured on this site,) for use online , from CD or DVD, or in other formats.
